what's the best way to secure a 1.1 web service that should only be consumed
by a 1.1 desktop application? I can't lock it down to an ip address because
it will be used by many people at different locations, but I just want to
make sure that only this app is using the web service. I thought I heard
wse only works for 2.0.

thanks.

Hi Jeff,

WSE 2.0 is supported by .NET 1.1 also; you can download it from
