My language-specific resources are in satellite assemblies. Still it does not work. Does anyone have it working?
Also the documentation on Assembly.GetManifestResourceStream which AssemblyResourceLoader uses internally does not say it is culture-aware. If I am not mistaken of all classes from System.Resources namespace only ResourceManager is culture-aware.

Hello,
I think your impression could be wrong; did you try storing your
embedded resources in satellite assemblies?
Maybe Nikhil Kothari's blog [1] on this subject could come to your rescue.

Post by Ivanoff, AlexFor some reason I was under impression that GetWebResourceUrl/WebResource.axd is culture-aware. Turns out it is not. What are the alternatives to deliver embedded localized resources (images, not just text) to web page?
Thank you,
Alex
